New collection: Kohiki

Kohiki is a traditional style of pottery technique in which a dark clay body is covered with a white slip, before a clear glaze is applied. The more you use it, the more the pottery develops its character. Over time the color could grow a little darker and tiny cracks might develop. These changes have been appreciated as keshiki (“the scenery” – natural growth of pottery’s look) by pottery lovers.
